Indian Air Force Invites Applications for Group C MTS Posts; Offline Registration Open Until July 27

New Delhi, June 27: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Group C Civilian posts under Advertisement No. 02/2026, inviting eligible Indian citizens to apply through the offline mode. The application process is currently underway, and interested candidates must ensure that their completed application forms reach the designated address by July 27, 2026.

The recruitment drive aims to fill six vacancies for the MTS post under the Headquarters Maintenance Command. According to the official notification, candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognised board to be eligible for the post.

Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years of age as of July 27, 2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be provided in accordance with Government of India rules. Notably, no application fee has been prescribed for candidates of any category.

Selection Through Written Examination

The selection process will consist of a written examination only. Before issuing admit cards, the Indian Air Force will scrutinise applications to verify candidates' age, educational qualifications and supporting documents.

The written examination will include questions from:

- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- Numerical Aptitude
- General English
- General Awareness

The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi. Candidates who qualify in the written test will be required to produce their original documents during the verification process.

Offline Application Procedure

Candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed Annexure-I format. The form should be typed in either English or Hindi and accompanied by a recent self-attested passport-size photograph. Two additional passport-size photographs identical to the one affixed on the application form must also be enclosed.

Applicants are required to attach self-attested copies of relevant certificates supporting educational qualification, age, experience, technical qualification, caste, PwBD status and other applicable claims. OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, while EWS applicants should provide the prescribed Income and Asset Certificate.

A self-addressed envelope affixed with a ₹10 postal stamp must also be enclosed. Candidates should clearly mention the post applied for and category on the envelope.
